Happy & Fruitful Thursday Morn!

Happy Thurs Morn!!!
coz dearest Mummy is on urgent leave, taking care of me as Mama is not feeling well today. We are wakey early and after my beauty shower, we had a morn walk to Sun Plaza to have breakfast at Mcdonald's.

... I'm checking to ensure mummy's wallet has $$$ before we embark on our morn walk.

~ I'm wearing another fav dress which is sz 3-6 mos and surprising till today I still can wear it. Initally the dress is quite long & roomy on me last time but now the length is reaching above my knees and fit me so nice. Ever since I can walk, mummy love to dress me in pretty dresses which makes me look more girlie. I cant wait to wear my new CNY dresses. ~

We are enjoying our breakfast at Mcdonald.
(I had cereal breakfast which mummy brought it along while she enjoying yummy hotcakes meal) After the meal, we went to NTUC to shop for some grocery and then returned home.

After my afternoon nap, mummy going to bring me to Toa Payoh to meet Godma ET. Godma will help to bbsit me while mummy is going to do her hair for upcoming CNY season. She needs to doll herself mei mei too. Hee hee

Gong Xi Gong Xi - trying out my new cny outfit

After my morn milk..
just as I was wandering around the living room while mummy sorting out my new cny dresses and outfits to wash together with my bedsheets. She found this pretty traditional cny costume outfit which Godma San bought for me during her HK work trip. At first, she thought the skirt may be a bit big for me, so she tried it out on me. In the end, we realised it fits me so nice and fitting. Initially, my parents planning to let me wear the new babygap blue dress on 1st day of CNY. Since this outfit looks so pretty on me, maybe mummy going to let me wear this outfit on instead. Mummy also got a new blue cardigan, to fit my blue outfits, looks like Daddy is going to get a new blue shirt. So that we can have a 'Family Blue theme' during our outing on CNY's 1st day.

By the way, I also learnt how to do the 'gong xi gong xi' gesture. Hope by doing so, I can get more ang pows from relatives during cny visiting. Thanks to Daddy's patience guidance. Sharing below happy pics trying out the pretty outfit just now.

P/S: Godma San, you really have a good taste in fashion. We like this outfit very much esp the col & styling since it looks so unique from the usual outfits we've seen selling in sg. Not only that, we also like the pretty dragonfly dress you got for me too. I feel very lucky to have so many pretty clothes and mummy feels so fortunate to have a girl like me to doll up.

Happy 14th Month (also my last lesson at MYGYM)

Happy 14th month to me!!!
Today is also my last lesson at MYGYM (sob sob).
& the theme for our last lesson is .."About my favourite things"

So mummy dressed me up in my fav pretty dress and my fav wrist rattles from Godma Flo. I've lots of fun and today's class is very big consists of 7 babies due to new term for newcomers. My buddy also having her last lesson, same as me. Sob sob.. I gonna miss her too. Sharing our pics with you all.

P/S: we still remembered the 1st time I joined the class, I was still at crawling stage and now I graduate with walking skills. I learnt a lot from the class and gonna miss teachers. Hope there will be a chance for me to sign up for the advance level the next time.

By the way, I & my buddy will be going for our trial class at North Oak Kindermusik next Sat morn. Mummy hope the lesson over there will be equally as fun as Tanglin Mall's.

A Morn Walk in our New Park

A Lazy Sunday for us today..
We laze at home to restore our energy esp for my dear parents..
coz tomor is the starting of dreadful working week again.

This morn, we went to explore our newly opened park, Montreal Green which is within ten mins walk from our home. This time, I got to walk all the way there with my parents' help without stroller. The park is full of laughters and giggles from the happy children playing here and there. We had a fun time, enjoying our morn walk in the new park though the weather is very humid and sunny. Here are my happy snapshots that we like to share. ^_^

My 2nd last lesson at MYGYM

Hi all,
Times really flies! I'm about to finish my term at MYGYM and next sat 1/26 will be my last lesson. We truly enjoyed the activities as my parents able to accompany me during the lesson. Usually, other schools only allow 1 parent to accompany the child. Due to the time slot we've chosen, it is considered low peak with lower no of babies, thus enables both parents to come in together with the child. We also like the friendly teachers as well.

Mummy also has plans for my next upcoming lesson. Remember, I did enjoyed kindermusik during the my 1st trial? This time, she has signed me up for another trial class at Kindermusik which is near Admiralty. If I can stay still during the trial class this time, she is going to sign me up for 1 term to try out. I always have a soft spot for music and will rock when music is ON.

Besides, mummy also try to sign me up for the playgroup (18 mos - 3 yrs old) at JG for term starting in June. Who knows after trying few days to get though the person in charge, she was informed that there are a long waiting list and we still need to pay abt $38 (non-refundable) in order to qualify to be on the waiting list. So unbelievable, right?

~ After the lesson, we went to the thai cafe downstairs to have our early dinner as daddy & mummy skipped their lunch earlier on. I had yummy homecooked chicken porridge which mummy brought along. * For my lunch, I had something special - chicken mee sua which mummy use veg stock for the soup base , very yummy and I like it at my 1st attempt.

Re-training to call MAMA

My poor mummy has been slogging late since Nov till today, due to her change of account & more new accounts this time. You may think she is getting her promotion soon and which we hope so, as it means more $$ to our current income. However, this is not going to be the case for her. Coz she learnt yesterday though her supervisor, they will try to promote her later this year or ... (who knows? it may be a false hope too). Mummy been very stressed over her work, even brought home work to do and check her office emails from home nearly everyday. Another sad fact is that most of the time, she cant tuck me to bed every night for the past 2 weeks. Luckily, daddy is on course & ables to reach home early to look after me.

I also been breaking my mummy's heart by not calling her. I would always call "PAPA" loving and makes my mummy 'jealous'. So Daddy been re-training me to call "MAMA", to make Mummy happy. Sharing below video with you all.

Visiting my great grandma ^_^

Horray!! my great grandma finally discharged from hospital yesterday.
So this morn when I woke up at 8am, my mummy gave me my milk while she rushed to cook my porridge, then bathed me, so that we can leave home early to visit great grandma. My loving daddy finally decided to accompany us even though he needs to study for his exam. He just can't bear to see dearest mummy carrying so many barangs and juggling me on the sling on her own.

The journey is quite a distance as we need to take mrt train till Boon Lay and then bus no 181 in order to reach gu-gong's place. I'm getting very restless during the long mrt ride.. I enjoy the visit coz I got new area to explore again and this time gu-gong and kim-po busy entertaining me. We are glad that my great grandma finally discharged, to celebrate upcoming CNY at home with us. Mama also arrived later on and we went home together in late afternoon.

I was so tired after the trip that I fell asleep by 8pm. (we brought the camera but forgot to take some happy snapshot to share.). Looks fwd to visit great grandma the next time.

Go Nuts over Banana..

Look at the way I eat my fav banana.. each bite is a big mouthful, I simply cant resist as I simply nuts over banana as they are sooo sweeeet & deliciously to munch. Do you also???

P/S: one of the convenient way to pack my meal outdoor, is to bring a couple of bananas + some grain cereal, mashed the banana and mixed it with cereal. Voila!!! my healthy meal! Bon appetite!

I was happily napping all the way till my parents finished their yummy hearty lunch at Sakae Sushi. After finishing my milk, they brought me to NTUC again as mummy need to buy some fish to prepare my meal tomor. While we were there, I was happily seated in the trolley and Daddy is snapping away to capture my happy moment and this time the photo quality is much better than mummy's. Hee hee..

Chez mon amie, Vernice !!

Bonjour! Nous allons bien!

This morn, mummy brought me on her own, to visit my buddy, Vernice. Their home is very pretty & classy, spacious and bright & has big playing corner for us. I have so much fun playing with Vernice and her toys. Next, we proceed downstairs for swim together though the pool water is very cold. Sharing some happy snapshots taken by Uncle Tim. ^_^

After bathing and my hearty lunch, I continued playing with my buddy and enjoyed so much that I couldn't bear to go back. Mummy got to keep urging me to go back, to meet Daddy for their lunch @ Sun Plaza. Shortly after we left their place, I have dozed off happily for my nap.

Shopping in NTUC supermarket

This evening, my dear mummy managed to off work on time while daddy dearest still working late. We enjoy our dinner with Mama at the foodcourt, Sun Plaza. After our nice dinner, we took a stroll by shopping in NTUC supermarket, to shop for my wkend grocery.

.... a sudden thought came to mummy when we were at NTUC.
She decided to let me have my 1st try sitting in the trolley cart which I believe many of my bb friends have done that. I really do enjoy sitting in the trolley, seeing things and people from new perspective view apart from my usual sitting position in my stroller. As we past by the promo section, mummy spotted the Nepia's diapers are having promotion [2 packs for $26.95] and this is really a good steal. As my usual Pet Pet M sz diapers which I have been using , is running low at home. Mummy decided to grab this chance to buy Nepia's, to replenish my current stock and upgrade my diaper's size to sz L as well. In the end, we bought 3 packs L sz diapers, 1 pack L sz pull up pants. Lucky, we've Mama with us to help to carry back our loots.

What a fun shopping trip we had just now!!!

Looking back, I seem to achieve a lot in my 1st year during 2007.

Below is a long list of my achievements in year 2007.
~ 8 Feb, 2007 : Broke my sleeping record (1st time zzz thru the night )
~ 8 Mar, 2007 : my 1st Flip (when I was abt 15 wk old)
~ 6 Apr, 2007 : my hairs were all shaved & did a taomaobi
~ 16 May, 2007: My happy video broadcast on TV @wonderbaby program
~ 23 May, 2007: 2nd sleeping video broadcast on TV, wonderbaby program
~ 27 May, 2007 : my 1st taste of cereal when I reached my 6th month
~ 26 Jun, 2007 : my 1st 2 lower teeth popping out
~ 7 Jul, 2007 : semi-final round for best BF baby contest by KK
(but I did not get into grand final)
~ 27 Jul, 2007 : my first crawl (8 month and 1 day old)
~ 26 Nov, 2007 : my 1st birthday party, also already drinking water from straw
~ 1 Dec, 2007 : my 1st walking steps on my own
~ Officially a active walking toddler!


My Goals in Year 2008 :
~ must learn to hold my milk bottle on my own & finish the milk
~ must learn to self-feed by 18 month
~ must learn to potty train by end of this year
~ must learn to speak more new words
~ must learn to do 'gong xi' gesture by before CNY

Happy New Year, 2008!!!

Happy New Year to everyone!!!!
Although I did not stay till countdown last night, I was so tired and sleep like a log till 9am today. Guess, I'm exhausted from too much fun at the gathering last evening.

This afternoon, we went to SGH to visit my great grandma, to wish her Happy New Year. It is my 1st visit to the hospital as previous times I been keep away due to my small body & recent rashes attack. I know great grandma misses me a lot... she is so happy to see us paying her a visit and witnessed my busy walking 'action' around the ward. One of my new year wishes, is to see her recover soon and discharged before end of this month.
