Steamboat Feast!!!

Over the last weekend, my parents are very tired and liked to laze at home, spending family time with me.

On last Saturday, Gu-gong and Kim-po came over specially to visit me and to find out how I recovering. Thank you for taking time off to play with me. It made my day a fulfilling one. In the evening, my parents brought me out to Yishun NorthPoint together with Mama & Jiu Jiu for dinner and library trip. While having dinner, Mummy suggested to have a steamboat lunch at our place the next day.

Then the next day (Sunday), we bought some simple ingredients and Mummy took time to cook a big pot of yummy chicken soup for the steamboat stock. We've a very filling lunch together with Mama/Gong Gong and Jiu Jiu. It has been a long time since we eat together as BIG family.

P/S: Happy weekend indeed pass too quickly ..

Another ZOO outing on 23 Jul

My parents already applied for leave on 23 July..
long before I fell sick and recovering from fever.

Coz Mummy managed to get free tickets admission (4 adults) to Zoo from her company. Since my rashes have nearly disappeared on Wed night, my parents decided to go ahead with their plan and took me for a short outing since I've been cropped at home for past few days.

So we've invited my AH MA, my xiao gu and cousin Zach who are both back from China, for short stay, to go along with us on that morn.

We departed from our place at 8.30am, took a cab to reach Zoo. We did not really go to many animal visiting all over the zoo as our stay is indeed short. We left the place around 1.30pm as hot sun is out and blazing. Since I've just recovered from fever and rashes, it is best not for me to be out under the sun for too long.

New Activity Books

Above are my new loots that Mummy got these for me..
from Motherhood BP!!!

My parents been guiding me to do these activity books daily especially when I have nothing to do when not attending the school for past week.

Wanna guess which is my favourite activity book???

The 'Super Sticker Book" right at the bottom is my fave!!! This is not from the BP and Daddy bought it from Popular Bookstore. The pages / pictures are so colorful that attracts me so much, that I keep asking to do it each time.

Updates on my fever

Good news!!!

My fever finally gone down on last Sunday, 19 Jul.
However, my face becomes bloated and bits & bits rashes start to appear.
The very next day, my face and body all broke out in pinkish rashes.
Mummy used California Calendula cream to apply my face and whole body. Luckily, my rashes start to heal and 'disappear' by Wednesday night. So for the past whole week, I was recovering at home with Mama's help. Did not attend the childcare that week as my body & appetite is still weak. What a dreadful fever I had gone through.. now I'm back to my bright and cheerful self!!!

High Fever!!!

Oh NO!!!
I'm sick again & down with high fever !
My fever started on last Wednesday, 15 July in the middle of early morn around 5am. My temperature at that time was 39.5 degree.

My parents fed me with Paracetamol and by the time they left for work, my temperature has reduced to 37.5 degree. Mama's task that day is to monitor my temperature and if it did rose again, she will bring me to see Dr Lee.

However, I remained active that day even till my parents came back from work. So they thought I was OK then. But that fateful night on 16 July, 4am morn, my mummy was awoke by my hot burning body. My temperature at that point of time was 39.5 - 40 degree again. They quickly fed me with Paracetamol again and dressed me up, took me to Chong Pang where there is a 24hr clinic to see doc. By the time, we reached the clinic.. the time was about 4.50am and by the time we came home it was 5.30am. They quickly fed me the new medication and then we slept together. My poor parents dragged themselves out from bed at 7am and then dressed for work again.

Mama called my mummy at work in few hours later, saying that my temperature shoot up to 38.5 degree. I kept crying for them to come home to accompany me. My mummy immediately took half day cc leave, to monitor me. After my pm nap, my temp rose to 40.26 degree.. and mummy called up clinic to check and continue to feed me my medication. That night my fever still did not go away, it was rose to 39.7 degree again in the wee morn. My parents totally exhausted and decided to take childcare leave that day to monitor my condition. I remained active on that fri morn but when I awoke from my pm nap, my fever seem to rise again. That evening, my parents together with mama took me to KK's A & E for consultation. The doc told them that I might caught viral fever and may took up to 4-6 days for me to recover from the fever. Luckily, I no need to be admitted to hospital.

Sigh... hope to recover from this dreadful fever soon.
My appetitie is very poor during last few days...

this is the Fever pad that Mummy got it for me on 16 July after her 1/2 day work. My ever first time using the pad.. and I keep resist wearing it after a struggle battle with my poor mummy.

P/S: I've successfully weaned off from thumb sucking and only occassionally, I will forgot and put my thumb in my mouth to suck during deep sleep.

My new loots

Continued from our outing at AMK hub...
After our lunch, we went shop around for baby / toddler stuff..

At this shop, Mums and Babes, Godma San spotted a very cute jigsaw puzzle (which left 2 sets only). She got this for lil Jerral and my mummy is still hesitating to get it for me or not as the price for this jigsaw does not come cheap. It is at $30.50. My parents never bought such expensive puzzle for me to explore yet. It is gaint sz type of jigsaw that comes in 30 pcs and the parts once joined, can create a Girafe shape puzzle that is 36 inches tall.

Mummy decided not to get it for me. But I whined when I saw Jerral holding his new loot. Mummy gives in as she hope the puzzle will help to train my brain memory and PATIENCE. So here is my new loot, my first Puzzle.


Once we reached home around 5pm plus, the 1st thing I want to do is to open my new puzzle and enjoy playing it with Mummy's help. Look at the puzzle we just completed. Now this is my new love and my parents looks forwards to see me joint the pieces all by myself very soon.

& there are another new loots given by my Godma San ...
my favourite Pooh bear mat to deco my room and 2 books in Pooh for my reading & a craft apron. I'm so happy with my new loots today. Thank you Godpapa Gunny and Godma San for the nice pressies!

Godma San & Lil Jerral r Back!

Another happy news to share...
Godma San & Lil Jerral are back to Singapore for a short trip again.

They just returned on 6 July ..
Yesterday, Mummy brought me to meet them at AMK hub for lunch. We went to Ichiban for lunch and Mummy at that time, is starving.. haa coz past by her usual lunch eating time. Before we meet them, I already had a bowl of homecooked mee sua followed by a bottle of milk. Over there, I too have nearly a bowl of chuwanmushi. While the adults catching up their news, I and Jerral enjoying munching our tibits as well.

My New Tricycle

Horray!! I finally got a tricycle!
I been wanting to get one ..
In fact, Mummy is thinking to get me a Pooh bear deco tricycle (provided there is one in the market) for my upcoming 3 yrs old Birthday.

This tricycle is given by Mama's neighbour whose grandchild has already outgrown. I'm happy to lay my hands on it. Since yesterday, my parents no working and they brought me to downstair for cycling exercise!

Sleepyhead during Breakfast time

Hmmm.. guess who is the Sleepyhead?
Haa of course it is ME lah!

For past week, I been sleeping pretty late .. around 10pm plus and next day, poor Mummy got to drag me out of my slumberland at 7.20am, to dress me up in time for my school bus. We do not why I have quite a bout of energy these days. Maybe I like to spend more time with my parents as I know the evening time I had with them is too short and next morn, the time with them is too rush & busy.


Like this Sat morn, my parents & I have a filled day of sleep till I woke them up at 8am plus.. hee. Today, Mummy is preparing simple breakfast for us to eat in ...
