A new school to begins in 2009

2 more Days to countdown for a brand New Year in 2009..

Next Mon, 5th Jan'09..
I'm going to start my daily playgroup without my parent accompany.

This is a whole new experience for me
In fact, my mummy is more nervous than me.

Recently, I been sleeping late at night and waking late in morning.
Mummy start to panic and wonder how to 'tune' me back to the routine this week, to prepare for my school next week. I suddenly seems like a grown up child to her, the thought of me going to school everyday. Often she wonders, will I know how to fight for my 'rights' if I being bullied by other kids in school. I may look 'tough' but in fact I'm very cheerful, fun loving lil girl yet untaint by the 'real' world out there.

Anyway, wish me all the best for my new journey to the school.

My Winnie the Pooh collection
- Pooh school bag (given by my godparents), Pooh 2 tier layer lunchbox comes with complete utensil and lunch bag (given by Aunty Veron)

I'll be carrying this school bag to school next week.
Mummy will see how to prepare my snack / lunch bento using the pretty lunch boxes / creative usages she had.

Look at the lovely sets of FOOD PICKS that Daddy has spotted during their Daiso shopping trip last Sat evening. So cute, right? I can't wait to use them to pick my food too.

Who is Irene?

Earlier this evening as Mummy & Daddy lying on their bed, resting..
and I was running amok from bedroom to living room, in and out.

Suddenly, this lil girl shouted out 'Írene', 'Ïrene'! not just once BUT 2 or 3 times and can be heard CLEARLY. She called out this name loudly from outside and keep chanting it as she entered our room. Mummy was taken aback, staring and muttering to Daddy...

Daddy asked the lil girl, "Who is Irene?". The girl grinned at her Mummy cheekily and then shouted, "MAMA".

Neverthless to say, I'm the lil Girl being described above.
Seems like my parents did not teach me much on their names.. taken my dear Mummy by surprise when I called out her name on my own 1st time today. I must have learn it from others like Mama, the way she greet my Mummy.

Our Christmas Eve | Mini Family Celebration

On 24th Dec'08...
We had a mini celebration to celebrate on christmas eve, to welcome the Christmas arrival the next day. This is my 3rd time celebrating this festival.

Our house is filled up with Xmas festival mood...
Unfortunately, Mummy unables to organise mini parties successfully for my lil friends and her friends. Reason is simply the date is too near to xmas's arrival and many unables to turn up. Moreover, I happen to kena stomach flu during this festival period.

Good news is that I've recovering well by that night, Xmas eve.
Luckily, our mini party still goes on and we've Godma Flo, Mama & Jiu Jiu to join us our celebration on that special joyful night.

Lets share our joyful pics below taken that night ^_^

Successfully self feeding myself to my early dinner
(a yummy bowl of soupy chicken marconi)

Initally, Mummy wanted to attempt to cook some home dishes for dinner spread. But by the time we woke up in the morning, it seemed pretty late and it was a raining day. That is why we ended up ordering delivery instead. Hee ^_^

Our 1st Visit to newly opened DAISO, SSC

Went to Sembawang Shoping Center with Godma Flo & Mama, to visit the newly renovated shopping mall and esp the big Daiso Departmental Store. This one is indeed bigger than the other outlet. Mummy enjoyed shopping there and slowly browsing through their items esp the baking section. Daiso has become her favourite store and glad now there is one so near our place. Can pop by easily anytime.

Many of the shops there yet to start their opening and business. Didn't get to visit the basement like the Giant supermarket this time. We hate the free shuttle bus as each waiting interval is like 1hr or slightly more than that. We still prefer to take public transport to go there. Anyway, we will be back there very often too. Cant wait to shop there when all the shops are fully opened. Forgot to take our camera to take shot of the new mall.

Sharing pics of our loots from Daiso then. ^_^

My 1st Haircut Experience @ Salon

Dear all,
I'm still recovering from my stomach flu..
Have not been drinking a drop of my fav milk since last Fri to Sunday.
Ever since I''m been kena attacked by this virus, I been acting very moody and upset over lil things easily with no reason. I know all this is driving my parents crazy and they are also trying their best to cope with my mood swings during this diffcult period. Mummy also running out of ideas to cook yummy food due to my loss of appetite. No matter how nice the meal looks or taste, I can only ate half of the portion. Moreover, such a big reduce in my milk intake, greatly upset my doting mummy. I must have lost few grams of weight then...

Luckily, yesterday I start to ask for cold fresh milk and only will drink it from cup. I been drinking some today too. Think this is a good start.. at least better than none. I can hold my cup pretty well and drink without much 'accident'.

Anyway back to the topic of this posting..
22nd Dec 2008
Mummy brought me to a hair salon at Sun Plaza for my 1st haircut experience..
It turns out a terrible one indeed.. OMG!

I settled happily on the chair, waiting for my stylist to trim my hair. The nightmare begins when he start draping over a long clothe all over me.. I start to cry non stop with tears dripping endlessly, Mummy keep soothing me and talking to me. But I cant seem to stop tearing and listen to her. Luckily, the person manage to finish my cut like 10mins. We cannot say the same for my poor Mummy trying to maintain her sanity while I'm like destroying her ear drum. Overall, she did survive being calm and firm with me and I really must salute her. Haa..

Verdict : the haircut cost $8 but dun think the stylist has done a good job on my hairdo. Maybe will try elsewhere the next time. Any good recommendation???

P/S: to reward me for 'çrying' so long, Mummy brought me a cup of honeydew soya milk shake and a soya cheese cake to share. ^_^

So they visited Uncle Gary and Aunty Kerene & have a good & long chat with them @ their place. Meantime, Gu-Gong and Kim-Po helped to babysit me during those few hours. Once again, a big tks to my Gu-Gong and Kim Po.

P/S: I din manage to nap but I fussed a lot during bedtime & only finally sleep at 10.30pm. Driving my parents crazy with constant demanding for milk milk.. after 500ml I finally feel full to sleep happily.

Muffins, Cupcakes!

Sharing below pics of Mummy's muffins & cupcakes that she has learnt from attending a baking class this entire afternoon till evening. Her goal is to learn to make more yummy and delicious cakes for us, family and friends to munch!

I been waiting for her to come back from class, waiting anxiously to sample her cakes she been taught to make today. These are yummy and this time Daddy even said "THUMB UP" fm his high expectation view. Hee the class is fun and interactive, looks like money well spent for such a class even though the fee is not cheap but Mummy enjoy the class truly. Keep up the Good Job, Mummy!

Lunch Meetup With Guests Esp from Korea

A happy pic of Aunty Jen and Baby Jadon!

Yesterday, Mummy brought me to lunch at Globetrotter restaurant @ United Square, with Kor Kor Andy, Aunty Jen & her kids (Sis Jaimie & Baby Jadon).

Aunty Jen & the duos are back for a trip, before heading back to Korea next Sat. Upon reaching the restaurant, I was thrilled to see the playroom filled with many children and I behaved badly, keep wanting to go in and play but Mummy insisted that I finished my lunch 1st. I even spilled water all over my pants & whinning loudly insisting to go inside the children playroom, making Mummy very angry.

As Mummy did not bring extra pants for me to change into, she took me to dry my pants in the washroom. While drying my pants, she gave me a big dressing down on my bad behaviour & spanked my left palm twice. I been pretty handful to her lately whenever I'm outside with her, keep wanting to dash to the kiddy rides or wandering around with no heeding to her.

Afterwards, we headed back & this time I finished the rest of my lunch very fast. Mummy too, kept her promise and let me proceed to play with Sis Jaimie in the playroom. ^_^

Sharing below pics that Mummy has captured & the STAR of the meetup, is Baby Jadon. This is our 1st time seeing him and he so handsome & behaves well.

A pic of the playroom, the attraction of this restaurant, keeping the tots busy while the adults enjoying their meal in peace. The real distraction is once the kids spot the room, they all want to dash in immediately & start playing.

Can you spot Sis Jaimie & me, in a corner playing the kitchen set?
Though this is my 2nd time meeting Sis Jaimie, we immediately warmed up to each other very fast and playing close together inside the room. Mummy often showed me her pretty blog, in a way I know her from seeing her pics so often on her blog.

Tata~~~~ the pretty Sis Jaimie!

After our meal, we went window shopping with them for a while.
On our way out of United Square, I spotted the merry go round train ride & immediately dashed towards. A pretty Mommy inserted coins for her daughter to ride, allowing 2 stranger boys have free ride since they already seated there. I keep wanting to go up the ride too, & that pretty mommy told mine that can let me stand & enjoy the ride so long I know to hold tightly.

Voila!! So I indeed enjoying the merry go round ride IN A STANDING POSITION till it ends. Hee :9

P/S: We will be seeing Aunty Jen & her kids again next year April.. till then! Take care and have a safe trip back!

Hello Kitty Show at Junction 8

Dashing to one of the kiddy rides once Mummy let me free to roam out of my stroller

Last Friday, we went to Junction 8 to catch the 1pm Hello Kitty show with Aunty Siow Hui and her boys. We arranged to meet at control station at 10.30am but we were late by 40 mins. Because I keep waking once in the night and another early morn, still sleeping by 10am & Mummy got to wake me up from my lalalala land as we are very late for our appt.

Upon reaching there, we unables to contact Aunty Siowhui on her mobile as she forgot to bring along her phone. Luckily, we managed to run into them @ Mos Burger when Mummy brought me there to feed my lunch first. What a concidence!

After our lunch, we headed towards the stage at 12.30, got a good spot to wait for the show to start. PSSHH.. not an easy task to keep me and Javier sitting for 30 mins, waiting for the show to start. Many thanks to Aunty Siow Hui for letting me to go up together with her boys to take pics with the Kitty duos. I too had a fun time being with her 2 boys.

Sharing our pics and video below ^_^

& the show begins...

Watch the 2nd part of the show closely and you will get to see me drenched in snow.. Then I started wanting Mummy to carry me till the end of the show as I'm shocked by the 'sticky snow' all over me.

The special limited edition of Hello Kitty tin box
(purchase of $50 in any shop in Jucntion 8, u r entitled to purchase this for $5)

P/S: Overall, I & Mummy enjoyed watching this show very much & we have a fun time too.
