Happy 18th Month!

Happy 18TH MONTHS TO ME!

Mummy took me for my final Hep B jab, thus completing all my vaccinations. During the doc's visit, I did not cry at all this time too while having my jab. I just stared blankly at Dr Lee and nurse while he administrated the jab onto my left thigh. They were totally awed & keep praising that I'm indeed very brave kid. My weight as of today is now 11.5 kg... hmm not much increase per my last record (11.4kg noted last month). However, I ended up having a slight fever in the middle of the night. My clothes were all soaked with my sweat and my diaper is super heavy and leaking a bit. Indeed, giving my parents a big scared when they found me so feverish. I'm better now... no more fever. But keep rejecting milk these days... sigh.. hope this stage will pass soon.

P/S : We are pleased to be informed that I've finally got a place in JG for Bilingual PlayClub (English/Mandarin)[18 months - 3 years). The new term will be starting from 23rd June, every Sun (11.30am at Forum). I was enrolled onto their waiting list since Feb meant for June intake & we are glad that I manage to get a slot for the new term just nice after I turn 18th month old. However, my parents got to stop my Shichida classes for next term & my last class will be on 28th June. I'm gonna miss the Shichida class. Maybe next time then!!

A Fun Day Outing at Lil Jerral's Place

We went to have breakfast with AH MA & took her to few places to run her errands per her request. Actually, I did feel a bit bored during the long car ride.

Along our way home while waiting for Daddy to buy back our lunch, mummy tried to cheer me up by making me smile & taking my happy moments using her camera phone.

Brown Rice Dinner

As I was enjoying my pm nap, mummy is already cooking my yummy dinner for my meal later in the evening. This time, she used organic brown rice which is given by Godma San. Last few days, I been on food jar & cereal most of the times as our old fridge is spoilt and we unable to keep our meat/fish.

Preparation of My Yummy Healthy Brown Rice Congee Dinner
1) 2 chinese spoonfuls of brown rice into a pot of water, add 2 dried scallop
2) Bring to boil over large fire, then slowly cook over small fire
3) Put in finely cut carrot slices into the pot, constantly stirred the mixture
4) Once it turns into congee, add finely cut round leaf spinach leaves, some fresh red grouper fish slices, finely cut tomatoes
5) Bring it to boil, scoop the congee & store into a thermal pot for use later.

Voila! a healthy & simple alternative meal!!

Our New Fridge

Our new Fridge (LG model) finally arrives TODAY afternoon.
Our old Artison one has finally broke down in the wee hours of Sat morn.
Anyway, time for us to get a new one since our previous one is passed down by our ex-owner of our house. So daddy called the electrical shop & ordered our new fridge through phone on Sat. The earliest delivery that they can arrange is TODAY since Mon is a public holidays.

We're totally pleased with this model & presenting our new fridge pics below.

Visit to Animal Resort Today

This morning, daddy rent the van & took us to Animal Resort.

We've Aunty Veron and Uncle Jeral joining us for this outing as well. We had a wonderful time though the weather is pretty hot & mosquitoes keep biting my parents. I have to admit that I'm scared of most animals there.. e.g. the hungry goats that keep aiming at the food that the visitors have.The resort is pretty small and we finish the outing within an hour. Then we proceed to AMK hub for JAP lunch together. Sharing our pics below.

Swimming Trip at Yishun Safra again

.. It has been months since my last swim in Jan'08 during my visit to Vernice's. Guess what?? Yesterday is a fine weather... When I awoke from my nap (12.30pm - 4.00pm), mummy asked me if I want to go for swimming. I immediately answer her, "YES"!!! So she quickly packed my barang & off we head to Yishun Safra club on our OWN, just 2 of us.

Imagine I enjoying my stroller ride while she carry my barang, pushing my stroller & puff during the another 20 min walk after we alighted from Yishun mrt station. Of course! I also helped her by carrying my own blow-up float. By then we reached there, it is about 5.30pm. When I first saw the pools, I all lighted up and smiles. Now, I can waddle in the baby pool on my own without much support from mummy's. I also love to hit the water to make BIG splash around me. I even dip my head into water to try blowing bubbles just like mummy did. I'm indeed a WATER BABY! I love swimming and being in water.

By then we finished showering, it is already 7pm. Mummy fed me my porridge dinner at Safra. By then we reached home, it is already 8pm plus. Mummy & I were dead tired .... BUT we enjoyed our swimming trip a lot. Tks mummy!

Our 1st visit @ IKEA (Tampines)

Last Sat, we attended Baby Xuan Che's baby shower at Pasir Ris.
After that, we went along with Uncle Junhong & Aunty Regina to IKEA Tampines in the evening. It was our 1st visit and the place was full of people. Below is a random pic taken by my mummy's phone.

* We did not get to buy the kid table & chairs which are not up to our liking.

Banana Cupcakes

Yesterday morn, mummy made some yummy Banana Cupcakes.
It took her about 45 min including the preparation/mixing & baking time.

Method of preparation (total 6 - 9 cupcakes)
- ingredients you need : A) 180gm butter (reduced salt), 100gm brown sugar (less sweet version), 2 eggs beaten, B) Sift together the 200gm plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp sodium bicarbonate, C) 300gm mashed banana, 2 tbsp fresh milk, 2tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

1) Beat A until creamy, add eggs & beat the mixture till fluffy
2) Stir in (B) & (C) mixture alternatively, a little at a time until well mixed
3) Spoon batter into paper baking cup, bake at 160C for 25min based on conventional oven
~ Very easy as 1..2.. 3 ~

Happy Mother's Day - Outing at Sembawang

After my hearty lunch, I went off with mama & gong gong & left my parents enjoying their lunch. Mummy also cook my congee for my dinner & store it in a thermal pot before they went off to enjoy the movie, IronMan showing at 1.30pm.

~ It is quite an entertaining movie with thrilling storyline & which my parents enjoyed it.

After their movie, they went to NTUC to stock up 5 tins of GAIN IQ formula milk powder which is selling at promo $23.70/per tin. I drank a lot and use up a tin of 900g within a week but FM price keep increasing & this is going to burn a big hole in their pockets ever since Mummy stop her bf career. Sigh..

Then, they went to fetch me from Mama's place and fed me my dinner first. We went for a stroll & pic taking again. This time, we went to visit the Munchy Donut cafe that just newly opened near Sembawang HDB hub. DONUTS!!!! my mummy's fav.
