Hayley the Chef. making Green Tea Cake

Last evening, I've fun baking cake with Mummy & helping her to test out her new mixer she bought. We baked Green Tea Chiffon cake this time.. our very 1st attempt. Hmm.. the taste of the cake is yummy too.. hee!
(thanks to my hard work too! tsk tsk)

the Chef taking a break, drinking her milk while ensuring the mixer is doing the work

We managed to bake 2 cakes
(a mini version for our breakfast & a 6 inch for Mummy to bring it to work, sharing with her colleagues)

Hi Mommy San,
yes, must beat the egg white not just fluffy but till stiff peak. Also watch out not to overmix or else the cake may sink or the yolk is unable to mix well with egg white.

To make a chiffon cake, you definitely need to have a electric handheld mixer or cake mixer to do the work. Unables to use hand whisk.

Good luck in your cake making! Have fun.

cheers,
Irene
