Daddy, have you taken your dinner?

Sharing one of event taken place one of evening last week...


** a late evening while Mummy trying her utmost to tuck me to bed, I was busy tossing here and there, jumping on the bed, nearly drove her 'mad' with anger.

Then, Daddy returned home from work & walked into our room, to 'rescue' poor Mummy. Below is the conversation taken place.

Daddy : Darling, be good .. time to sleep
Hayley : I'm not tired..
Daddy: Good girl.. come Daddy tuck u to bed
Hayley paused and quieten .. deep in thought
Hayley : Daddy, u eat dinner yet?
Daddy : Not yet..
Hayley : Daddy, go and eat dinner. I sleep by myself.
Daddy: Really?
Hayley nodded ..

Soon after Daddy left the room, leaving Mummy and me in the room.. I quickly dozed off within 10 min and all by myself. Bravo!! I'm indeed a good girl, letting my hungry & tired Daddy had his dinner in peace. This is something that Daddy like to blog to remind me the next time.

Our Updates!!!

[WAVE] Hi!

Been a long while since my last posting.
.. due to our PC spoilt, we could not do much updates for past few week
.. though we've recently bought a new PC/hardwares,
.. we yet to install some program to run
.. as Daddy is busy with his exam this week

Besides, Mummy was down with flu again 3 weeks ago & took her almost another 2 week to recover again. There is so much changes in our lives recently too.

1) Mummy has started her new work last Monday.

2) I will be starting full day childcare on 1st April.
My parents has shortlisted 2 childcare centers along Sembawang Road, brought me to visit the school during this 2 weeks. Finally, we decided the 2nd one as the place is very spacious with lots of room for outdoor play. There are many slides and toys to keep lil ones busy and happy. It is a 2 storey, 2 connected bungalow houses. The place is also very clean with loving teachers and aunties. I will be taking the school bus to & fro everyday. Overall, the fee is very reasonable after the susidy. Hope I will pass the crying stage very soon when I need to be separated from Mummy / Mama each morning & learn to enjoy the new school and new friends.

I Love Daddy !

Thought I can show off my new sleepwear to Daddy last night but by the time he came home late again, I was already fast asleep.

Yesterday, I reached my 27th month old. We are touched that Godma Flo still remembers my special day and sending me her wishing. My parents even forgot about it as now they are counting my age by years ever since I hit 2 yrs old.

As an update on myself, now I weigh 14.6 - 15 kg, height is around 94 - 96 cm. Hmm... does my weight consider ideal or more on the plus side? We do not know much of other tots of my age is now weighing. Many ppls commented that I look tall... maybe this area I took after my Daddy's gene.

Ever since I stopped going to daily playgroup, Mummy worried that I have too much free time to laze at home and learning nothing. She tries her utmost to self taught me some new words esp Chinese and doing some activities together in the morn.

I yet to start on my toilet training.. this is getting on Mummy's nerve. As I still cannot tell her timely as though I not that aware of my nature needs. I already wearing sz XL diaper and hope to be toilet trained asap. Recently, we as whole family has been sick with cough and flu bugs, hence delaying my training.

Since beginning of this year, I've fallen sick pretty much often. Not only that, Mummy also hates to fall sick together with me. This makes her weak esp taking care of sickly me who demand more of her time and attention. Daddy also down with cough for a long time and he be leaving for Melbourne work trip this sun. Hope prior to his trip, he can recover soon!

As for me, I just went to see DR LEE this morn. Last night, I keep waking up and coughing badly. This morning has slight fever and flu, coughing badly as well. So Mummy brought me to see doc to ensure I be given some medication for me to recover soon. Maybe I'm sick, keep refusing milk and food. Just as Mummy is recovering from her cough & throat infection this week, then now my turn to fall sick! URRRRGGGG!! All of us seems to be taking turn to fall sick.

My only wish now is for us, whole family BE Healthy Always!

More updates on my milestone

Sharing some updates on my learning & abilities as of today.

1) Singing :
I like to hum & sing songs on my own (my fav songs are Baa Baa Black Sheep, Twinkle Twinkle Lil Stars, Row your boat), I can even sing Twinkle Twinkle Lil Star in a complete song on my own.

2) ABCs
I can say my ABCs up to letter 'L' on my own, can complete all with my parents'prompting and help.

3) 123
I can count from 1 to 10 in both English and Chinese but often missing no 7 in english.

4) More words spoken
Definitely I can speak more words & understand as well. Most often, I will say "Hayley wants go out", "Hayley want air-con, cold cold" and often stating my name when I start my sentence or indicating my needs and wants. I can even say, "Ï Love you " etc.

5) Stubborn
I can be very stubborn and insist on having my own way. When I really do that, Mummy will 'pull' her hair in frustration. hee

6) Assistance
No matter how naughty or cheeky I can be, I like to offer my help to those who need it. For instance, I will help Mummy to 'fold' the piles of clothes she bring in after drying, I help to carry her bag to keep in WIW after our shopping trip, I know where to keep the utensil or coaster after use. These are one my sweetest moments..

Up to today, I still not toilet trained as I still cant express in timely manner. Mummy is trying to muster her courage to train me that.

This morn, Mummy bring me to go for pneumococcal vaccine jab. I only whinned & frown the instant the needle poke my left thigh but only for that instant. So I do considered very brave for not crying out loud. Since I'm 2 yrs old, only requires 1 jab will do. That one jab is already very costly, cost us $180. Imagine the high cost for those who are below 2 yrs old as 3 jabs are required.

Some updates on me since I'm approaching 2 years old in 2 month time.

1) Left Handed ???

If you notice closely, you will see that I prefer to use my use hand to eat, hold and write/draw. I been having this preference since young & everyone (relatives/teachers) keep asking my parents if I'm left handed. The strange fact is that both my dear parents are RIGHTIE. But Mummy's family members (mama, jiu jiu, gu-gong) and Daddy's side only got 2nd aunt, are left handed. Maybe I will inherit this gene from them too. Shall observe over another period of time if I will still persist in using my left hand.


2) Speech Improvement
I've widen my vocab ever since started on my JG classes.
But I'm more Ang Mo type as I speak more English than Mandarin. I can speak some Hokkien too in 'yes' & 'no'. Although, I can't speak in sentences or phrases yet. I can speak frequently like 2 - 3 words now.

English : I can even say, "Auntie", "Uncle", "Hold Please", "Take", "Pull" "Bit kuit" for biscuit, "Cer-reel" (cereal), "Juice", "Button", "Ban-ann" (banana), "Jackfruit", "Plum", "Daddy" (i/o Papa), Mummy (i/o Ma-ma), Thank you" (i/o thanks) etc.

Mandarin : Try catching me say '好' in Mandarin, I sounds like those 'ABCs' speaking the chinese. I can even say my name in Chinese too but my chinese vocab is limited, not as much as English.

French : I can say 'Ouvert' which means 'Open" for English. The funny thing is that I keep saying it instead 'open' whenever I want someone to open something for me. Moreover, no one actually teach me this. Maybe later on, Mummy will teach me some basic French.

Japanese : Well if Daddy still remember his Japanese, I like him to teach me this too.

Till today, I still yet to master well the skills of self-feeding and not even on toilet training. Hope I can achieve that soon.

My Pretty Moments as of 20th month old

During the evening after my hearty dinner, Daddy took out his pro camera to snap my happiest & prettiest moments to remember my being as of 20th month old. I also been speaking with many new words like .. "Please, Diaper, mei-mei, jie-jie, cat, tiger, dog, egg & including my name, Hayley, etc.."

We couldn't believed that in just 4 months to go, I will soon be hitting 2 years old. Another milestone to achieve. Mummy's only wish is to hope that I can be ready for potty training & capable in self feeding & drinking from cup soon.

Happy 20th Month!!!

Thanks to Godma Flo's wishing!
I'm 20th month old as of today... (well my parents nearly forgotten all about it). My weight as of today is 11.9kg & soon will be hitting 12 kg mark. As for my heght, I'm totally clueless as diffcult for me to stay still to measure.

I accompanied my dear parents to have their Burger King breakfast @ Causeway Point. Below is a pic of my Happy Smiley expression (grinning widely) being captured while waiting for our mrt to arrive. I'm so happy indeed.





After my afternoon nap & milk feed, we went to Sun Plaza for NTUC grocery shopping trip. Afterwards, we stopped at Ah Mei's eating house for my parents' late lunch break. They ordered some pratas.. As usual with greedy me around, I always shout to want & have some of what my parents are eating. In order to pacify me, mummy usually pass me some of her food for me to sample.

Happy 18th Month!

Happy 18TH MONTHS TO ME!

Mummy took me for my final Hep B jab, thus completing all my vaccinations. During the doc's visit, I did not cry at all this time too while having my jab. I just stared blankly at Dr Lee and nurse while he administrated the jab onto my left thigh. They were totally awed & keep praising that I'm indeed very brave kid. My weight as of today is now 11.5 kg... hmm not much increase per my last record (11.4kg noted last month). However, I ended up having a slight fever in the middle of the night. My clothes were all soaked with my sweat and my diaper is super heavy and leaking a bit. Indeed, giving my parents a big scared when they found me so feverish. I'm better now... no more fever. But keep rejecting milk these days... sigh.. hope this stage will pass soon.

P/S : We are pleased to be informed that I've finally got a place in JG for Bilingual PlayClub (English/Mandarin)[18 months - 3 years). The new term will be starting from 23rd June, every Sun (11.30am at Forum). I was enrolled onto their waiting list since Feb meant for June intake & we are glad that I manage to get a slot for the new term just nice after I turn 18th month old. However, my parents got to stop my Shichida classes for next term & my last class will be on 28th June. I'm gonna miss the Shichida class. Maybe next time then!!

Happy 17th Month

Happy 17th month old to me!
Updates!!! I'm now weighing at 11.4 kg & standing at 82-84 cm tall.

Turns 15 months - MMR Vaccine

Today, I turns 15th month old, Horray!
My parents returned home around 7.30pm and after their quick dinner, they brought me to visit the friendly Dr Lee, to have my MRR vaccination jab. Again this time, I did not cry during my injection onto my left thigh & in fact, I smiled at Daddy & Dr Lee. Guess my thigh contains fatty fats, so I did not feel the poking needle or maybe I'm indeed very brave. Good Job to me!!

* My weight as of today is 10.6kg & Dr Lee forgot to measure my height.

After the jab, we came home & I was soon fast asleep after my milk feed.

Happy 14th Month (also my last lesson at MYGYM)

Happy 14th month to me!!!
Today is also my last lesson at MYGYM (sob sob).
& the theme for our last lesson is .."About my favourite things"

So mummy dressed me up in my fav pretty dress and my fav wrist rattles from Godma Flo. I've lots of fun and today's class is very big consists of 7 babies due to new term for newcomers. My buddy also having her last lesson, same as me. Sob sob.. I gonna miss her too. Sharing our pics with you all.

P/S: we still remembered the 1st time I joined the class, I was still at crawling stage and now I graduate with walking skills. I learnt a lot from the class and gonna miss teachers. Hope there will be a chance for me to sign up for the advance level the next time.

By the way, I & my buddy will be going for our trial class at North Oak Kindermusik next Sat morn. Mummy hope the lesson over there will be equally as fun as Tanglin Mall's.

Happy 10th Month ^_^

I turns 10th month old today.. HORRAY!!
I know what you all thinking ... CAKE again? haa well I need to practise posing and cutting before my big 1st party arrives.

Tonight, we've 2 special guest (2 uncles) popped over our place last evening, to celebrate my special day for me. After a quick posings/singing/cutting cake, my mummy got to rush & feed me milk milk and put me to bed. Again, I don't get to touch my cake. However, my parents agreed to let me have a taste of my 1st yr old bday cake.

Happy 9th Month!

How times ZOOM!! I turns 9 month old today.. happy 9th month birthday to me. Today no cake for me as in just 3 more month, my parents promised a big CAKE for my 1st year celebration and I'm counting down happily. At this stage, I already crawling around and already attempting to stand on my own. Hopefully I can learn to walk before I turns 1 year old.

~ spinach, asparagus, peas, french beans, apricot, papaya, honeydew, banana, fish, chicken, pork, egg yolk~

My 8th month celebration ^_^

Hey all, I turns 8 month old today.. reaching another milestone again.
This time, my parents bought me a bday cake fm Bengawan Solo, to celebrate my special day since last month they din celebrate for me.

Actually I wonder if I should say it out..?
Although I've a wonderful time posing with my cake, blowing candles, making wish & cutting cake. In actual fact, I din even get to taste a tiny wee bit of the cream fm my cake. I'm left drooling with saliva when my mama & my parents eating the cakes BY THEMSELVES.

Celebrating 6th month birthday!!!

Horray!! Today I turns 6th month old!!!
Moreover, today is a pretty sat to start off... I wakey at 8am, to give my parents' more rest since I know today they not working. After my morn bath n feeding, they brought me to see doc for my last hep B jab (my next jab will be next yr when I am 15th month).

Horray!!! Today I turns 5 month old (how time flies). For a change, my daddy took leave taking care of me while my dearest mummy working. He brought me for jab and took many snapshoots of me nearly the whole day. I love my sweetest daddy ~~ Home Alone with my Daddy is so FUN!
