Banana Walnut Muffins

This morning (13 Dec 08), Mummy woke up early at 8am to bake some yummy muffins, to bring along during their visit to Uncle Gary & Aunty Kerene. This is really a quick method to produce those yummy cakes as she practised the new recipe learnt from the class.

We even had some for our breakfast!!

Muffins, Cupcakes!

Sharing below pics of Mummy's muffins & cupcakes that she has learnt from attending a baking class this entire afternoon till evening. Her goal is to learn to make more yummy and delicious cakes for us, family and friends to munch!

I been waiting for her to come back from class, waiting anxiously to sample her cakes she been taught to make today. These are yummy and this time Daddy even said "THUMB UP" fm his high expectation view. Hee the class is fun and interactive, looks like money well spent for such a class even though the fee is not cheap but Mummy enjoy the class truly. Keep up the Good Job, Mummy!

Lunch Meetup With Guests Esp from Korea

A happy pic of Aunty Jen and Baby Jadon!

Yesterday, Mummy brought me to lunch at Globetrotter restaurant @ United Square, with Kor Kor Andy, Aunty Jen & her kids (Sis Jaimie & Baby Jadon).

Aunty Jen & the duos are back for a trip, before heading back to Korea next Sat. Upon reaching the restaurant, I was thrilled to see the playroom filled with many children and I behaved badly, keep wanting to go in and play but Mummy insisted that I finished my lunch 1st. I even spilled water all over my pants & whinning loudly insisting to go inside the children playroom, making Mummy very angry.

As Mummy did not bring extra pants for me to change into, she took me to dry my pants in the washroom. While drying my pants, she gave me a big dressing down on my bad behaviour & spanked my left palm twice. I been pretty handful to her lately whenever I'm outside with her, keep wanting to dash to the kiddy rides or wandering around with no heeding to her.

Afterwards, we headed back & this time I finished the rest of my lunch very fast. Mummy too, kept her promise and let me proceed to play with Sis Jaimie in the playroom. ^_^

Sharing below pics that Mummy has captured & the STAR of the meetup, is Baby Jadon. This is our 1st time seeing him and he so handsome & behaves well.

A pic of the playroom, the attraction of this restaurant, keeping the tots busy while the adults enjoying their meal in peace. The real distraction is once the kids spot the room, they all want to dash in immediately & start playing.

Can you spot Sis Jaimie & me, in a corner playing the kitchen set?
Though this is my 2nd time meeting Sis Jaimie, we immediately warmed up to each other very fast and playing close together inside the room. Mummy often showed me her pretty blog, in a way I know her from seeing her pics so often on her blog.

Tata~~~~ the pretty Sis Jaimie!

After our meal, we went window shopping with them for a while.
On our way out of United Square, I spotted the merry go round train ride & immediately dashed towards. A pretty Mommy inserted coins for her daughter to ride, allowing 2 stranger boys have free ride since they already seated there. I keep wanting to go up the ride too, & that pretty mommy told mine that can let me stand & enjoy the ride so long I know to hold tightly.

Voila!! So I indeed enjoying the merry go round ride IN A STANDING POSITION till it ends. Hee :9

P/S: We will be seeing Aunty Jen & her kids again next year April.. till then! Take care and have a safe trip back!

Hello Kitty Show at Junction 8

Dashing to one of the kiddy rides once Mummy let me free to roam out of my stroller

Last Friday, we went to Junction 8 to catch the 1pm Hello Kitty show with Aunty Siow Hui and her boys. We arranged to meet at control station at 10.30am but we were late by 40 mins. Because I keep waking once in the night and another early morn, still sleeping by 10am & Mummy got to wake me up from my lalalala land as we are very late for our appt.

Upon reaching there, we unables to contact Aunty Siowhui on her mobile as she forgot to bring along her phone. Luckily, we managed to run into them @ Mos Burger when Mummy brought me there to feed my lunch first. What a concidence!

After our lunch, we headed towards the stage at 12.30, got a good spot to wait for the show to start. PSSHH.. not an easy task to keep me and Javier sitting for 30 mins, waiting for the show to start. Many thanks to Aunty Siow Hui for letting me to go up together with her boys to take pics with the Kitty duos. I too had a fun time being with her 2 boys.

Sharing our pics and video below ^_^

& the show begins...

Watch the 2nd part of the show closely and you will get to see me drenched in snow.. Then I started wanting Mummy to carry me till the end of the show as I'm shocked by the 'sticky snow' all over me.

The special limited edition of Hello Kitty tin box
(purchase of $50 in any shop in Jucntion 8, u r entitled to purchase this for $5)

P/S: Overall, I & Mummy enjoyed watching this show very much & we have a fun time too.

What a Happy Pooh Day!

Mummy brought me to Taka today, to meet Aunty Elaine for lunch & catch the Pooh & Friends performance at 1pm. We are positioned well at Delifrance, enjoying our lunch while waiting for the show to start. Fm our dinning position, we can see well of the show performance down there. I so excitied and can't wait for my BIG CUTE POOH Bear to come out soon.

Keep chanting, "Bear Bear come.. Pooh come"

The crowds below us, people waiting for the Pooh Bear making his appearance

I feeling bored while waiting for my fav bear to come!

Horray! There is my fav Pooh Bear and his friends!!
My grinning look with happiness upon seeing my fav character!

Pooh and his friends at the stage

Aunty Elaine and Me

Mummy & Me

P/S : Actually, Mummy is quite disappointed with the show because there is no performance at all. Just the appearance of the Pooh and His friends, for letting people to pose and take pics with them on the stage. Tomor, we are going for Hello Kitty Show at Bishan and hope it will be better than this.

More updates on my milestone

Sharing some updates on my learning & abilities as of today.

1) Singing :
I like to hum & sing songs on my own (my fav songs are Baa Baa Black Sheep, Twinkle Twinkle Lil Stars, Row your boat), I can even sing Twinkle Twinkle Lil Star in a complete song on my own.

2) ABCs
I can say my ABCs up to letter 'L' on my own, can complete all with my parents'prompting and help.

3) 123
I can count from 1 to 10 in both English and Chinese but often missing no 7 in english.

4) More words spoken

Definitely I can speak more words & understand as well. Most often, I will say "Hayley wants go out", "Hayley want air-con, cold cold" and often stating my name when I start my sentence or indicating my needs and wants. I can even say, "Ï Love you " etc.

5) Stubborn
I can be very stubborn and insist on having my own way. When I really do that, Mummy will 'pull' her hair in frustration. hee

6) Assistance
No matter how naughty or cheeky I can be, I like to offer my help to those who need it. For instance, I will help Mummy to 'fold' the piles of clothes she bring in after drying, I help to carry her bag to keep in WIW after our shopping trip, I know where to keep the utensil or coaster after use. These are one my sweetest moments..

Up to today, I still not toilet trained as I still cant express in timely manner. Mummy is trying to muster her courage to train me that.

This morn, Mummy bring me to go for pneumococcal vaccine jab. I only whinned & frown the instant the needle poke my left thigh but only for that instant. So I do considered very brave for not crying out loud. Since I'm 2 yrs old, only requires 1 jab will do. That one jab is already very costly, cost us $180. Imagine the high cost for those who are below 2 yrs old as 3 jabs are required.

My New Uniform

Last Sat pm, my parents & I went along to attend TalentPlus Playgroup orientation.

HFMD has been raising issue in our area, SBW and my parents are very worried as many of Daddy's colleague kids are kena by this terrible virus while attending neighbouring ccs & playgroups.

My Daddy feel more assured by letting me to attend the weekly playgroup at JG Forum. Since Mummy has already pay the Dec '08 school fee for this daily playgroup & after lots of hesitatings, they decide to let me try out this school to see how it goes. My parents have paid another $250 (inclusive of Jan fee, school uniform & half yearly material fees) during the orientation. Of course, they will teach me on hygienic & sterilizing my hands before entering & after class. This is an extra step on precaution and hope other parents will also educate their kids preventing HFMD as well.

Mummy just learned that one of my dec bb friends, Mandy, is also attending this playgroup and next yr we might end up as classmates. We only met her once during April '07 gathering.

I will be starting my new school on 5th Jan '09. On top of this, I still continue my JG weekly class which resumes on 11th Jan'09.

Looking forwards to start my school next year!
